The Love & Mercy Of the Sunnah
Allah (swt) has sent the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saws) as Merecy To All The Worlds. Then proclaimed that if one wants to love Allah he/she has to follow the Prophet (saws). So the love of Allah may only be found by following the Prophet (saws) and acting upon his sunnah. The retreat will dwell on the jewels of the Prophetic Hadith and Sunnah which are the practical expressions of Divine love and Mercy made available to the creation as Divine guidance. By following them one may find Divine presence and proximity to Allah (swt) in ones daily life.

Currently he is an Imam and Khateeb At The Ihsan Mosque of Norwich,UK. He will inshallah deliver 6 spiritual discourses during the retreat in Columbia South Carolina.
Specialist in Shari'a Law. Holds a degree (Ijaza) in Shari'a and Theology. Has translated a number of seminal Islamic works into Spanish. Has taught Islamic Studies since 1991 and had been an Imam and Khatib in South Africa, USA and Europe. Has been teaching Islamic Studies, Arabic and Spanish languages at the Norwich Academy since 2004. He has studied at prestigious institutions including the famous Zaytuna University of Tunisia.
Shaykh Ali is originally from Morocco. He is a Charismatic speaker and a renown scholar. He comes from a family of ahl al bayt, a descendant of Hazrath Imam Husayn Radi Allahu 'Anhu. He is well known for his knowledge of Aqidah, Maliki fiqh, Tafsir and Tasawwuf.
At present Shaykh Ali Laraki teaches tafsir of Qur’an on Monday nights, concentrating at this point on the last small surahs of the Qur’an. Previously he was proceeding through Surat al-Baqarah. Previously Shaykh Ali Laraki taught a course over two years that covered the Murshid al-Mu’in of Ibn ‘Ashir and a substantial amount of the Risalah of Ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani. He has also taught the Shifa of Qadi ‘Iyad on a regular basis.
